Joseph Joiner and Capital Race Cars Join Forces
Joseph Joiner and the Hunt the Front race team will debut a new Kubota-sponsored Capital Race Car during the prestigious World 100 at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, as part of a new collaborative partnership between Joiner, Hunt the Front and Capital co-owners Shane Clanton and Chad Smith.
The team-announced partnership marks a return to Capital Race Cars for the Milton, Fla., driver, who emerged as one of the country's top Crate Late Model racers and became a consistent Super Late Model contender in the Southeast fielding Capital cars from 2019-22.
Joiner and the Hunt the Front race team will receive support from Capital and JRI Shocks and will work closely with Clanton on race-day setups and testing to provide developmental feedback. The partnership is aimed at both enhancing the team’s performance and Capital’s chassis development.
“I’m really excited to be working with Shane, Chad, and everyone at Capital Race Cars,” said Joiner, whose previous Capital success included a National 100 victory at East Alabama Motor Speedway and a $50,000 Crate victory at Super Bee Speedway in Chatham, La. “The effort they’ve put in since taking over Capital is really showing in the performance on the track, and I’m looking forward to being a part of that continued success. Eldora is the perfect place to debut this new car, and we’re ready to go after a strong run at the World 100.”
Joiner has "proven himself time and time again, and we believe that with the support from Capital and JRI Shocks, he’s going to achieve great things,” said Clanton, a former World 100 winner and World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series champion. “We’re looking forward to seeing what the HTF team can do with this new car starting at Eldora and going forward.”
